That's for me to know and not you!
Well its partially rifle, partially shotgun and partially pistol but I thought I would post it here.

I went to Little Johns Auction on Sept 10 and 11. Picked up a few new pieces. Do not have pics yet but I thought I would tell you what I got.

1. Walther p-38 DA 9mm 4 3/4 98% good bore, good actions and markings marked made in W.Germany. ----$200

2. Sistema Colt model 1927 .45acp arsenal refinished bore good, action tight
---$275

3.Glock model 20 orignal box,mag loader,1 mag almost no wear ---$300

4. Chinese SKS #290028-- nearly new, almost no wear--$300

5. Chinese SKS #23138-- moderate use--$200

6. COLT series 70 National Match 90% blue---$900

7. Mosin Nagant #D0011-- very good condition, has storage grease (cosmonline?) with bayonet stock and reciever show very little wear--$95

8.Smith and wesson mod SW40F DA with factory box and LNIB--$225

9.Mossberg 500a 12ga 26" vent rib wood furniture with polychoke 80% blue--$100

So as you can tell I spend a pretty penny but i believe I did well. I got to handle all the weapons before the auction and all were in described or better conditions. Just wondering what you guys thought.

Congrats!

You should certainly post some pics of your new collection for all to see and admire when you get a chance, but from your description it sounds like you found some good buys:)

Bayonets on Chinese SKS are always a sticky subject (I made a funny) legally.
If they do not already have a bayonet, it's safer not to put one on.
They use a long spike bayonet, by the way.

You really got taken on the Colt NM. I'll buy it from you for $950, because I feel bad. ;)

You got some smoking deals. You spent a lot, but you saved a huge amount. You could easily sell those and make money.

Really cause I saw they use a spike or blade I just do not know which one. I guess it will be easier when i can post the pics.

No no no on the colt I love it and cannot wait to start shooting bullseye matches with it.

I wish I had spent more...had the money but I did not do it. In december I will however.
