Very cool article, lots of food for thought regarding the legality of BP firearms in general. Hopefully this will help open new doors for some of our friends in "occupied territiory" ( I mean this in a figurative sense). I'm very pleased with the laws regarding BP firearms and hopefully we can keep them that way. I believe they should have gave the Pedersoli Howdah pistol an honerable mention seeing as it could be pressed into service as a defensive arm if the need arised. BP is inexepensive fun and IMO every serious shooter should give it a whirl.

ummmmm 40 grains i dont think will fit. i usually load up with about 25 grains.

I didn't like the fact he pointed out the non gun issue with the ATF. Maybe he is hoping that will change?

Guy makes it clear he is no aficionado of black powder, then does exactly what the 777 mfg. says not to do, he compresses it. 777 can get real weird for high pressures when compressed.

a few of his facts seemed off and I know the 36 is not as powerful as the 44 but I am pretty sure it will penatrate a 2x4 and blow a chunk(not as big as a 44) out of the wood. It was still an intesting article and maybe it will bring more people to the Dark side.

The article promotes a good & sacred purpose! There's safety in numbers and the more folks enjoying it, the better! Knowledge is power. We'll cultivate and grow our side and they can go have wine & cheese parties, or do whatever else it is that they want to do, like go boycott a Walmart that sells guns or something.
The anti's don't scare or bother me.
