Guns on Miami Vice?

Yeah, that's the show.

And didn't Don Johnson do a show with Cheech Marin with a similar theme to Miami Vice? So similar that he even drove a fancy sports car! :D

That would be "Nash Bridges"

And I'm not sure that a Hemi 'Cuda is a "sports car," but it certainly was cool.

And the girl who played his daughter, Cassandra, wasn't hard to look at either. ;)

Great show. My all time favorite scene is from the episode Crocket and Tubbs go to the swamps to protect a witness or something. They raid a house to rescue a child with the help of some local civvies--one old dude has an old blunderbuss musket. Crocket drops through the roof and the BG has the kid with a gun to her head. He says "If I twitch, she's gone". Crocket takes aim, says "Maybe you won't even twitch" and pops the dude in the head.

Speaking of Michael Mann, I watched Heat over the weekend again. That is a great gun movie.

Tubbs carried both. He used a side by side at first. Later, he switched to a cut down pump. Supposedly, he carried it in a rig under his jacket. I'm sure though that it was put there by the prop guys right before he needed to pull it out.

dont forget all the MAC's and UZI's carried by the bad guys.....that's what made those cheap MG's sell. back then the $200 tax stamp cost more than the firearm!

Miami Vice turned me into an FFL/SOT......! never got rid of the addiction and now look what happened.

That episode was called "Glades." In the Bren Ten world, it's probably the most popular ep. because of all the on-screen time of the pistol, including the tactical reload.

I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU GUYS SAY, THIS SUMMER, THE STYLE OF MIAMI VICE WILL BE BACK. And, I need to get a snub nose just like Tubbs

"I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU GUYS SAY, THIS SUMMER, THE STYLE OF MIAMI VICE WILL BE BACK"

Does this mean I have to throw away all my socks? :neener:

Yeah, just throw away all your socks, wear t-shirts with sport jacket and everyone go out and get a jackass rig. :D

Let's get it straight. Tubbs, (Phillip Michael Thomas) was the real star of the show. He was cool and dressed well. Crocket (Don Johnson) was cool but was a flake. The world has changed over the past 20 years and I'm sure you all know what I mean. I guarantee that Jamie Foxx, (and I'm sorry, I do not like his style of acting) will be the star.
