I went to a local gun show this morning.
Although it wasn't massive there were some interesting guns for sale.
I saw two four-inch Colt Troopers, not the later ones, the Troopers that predated the Python. Both had a lot of holster wear and the dealer said they had been cop guns.

Saw a stainless S&W snubby with adjustable sights, and a S&W 649. The 649 wasn't as nice as my favorite 649, but was pretty good.
Also saw a Smith 41 .22 target pistol. I've been thinking about buying one of these. Too bad I'm broke from an earlier revolver binge.

There were quite a few Ruger single actions, a Walther PPKS in .22, a Rexio single-shot .22 pistol (like a cross between a Ruger Blackhawk and a Contender.) Also saw a pricy Colt Woodsman Target.

Except for the Woodsman prices were fairly reasonable IMO.
Don't overlook the small shows.

"...I've been thinking about buying one of these..." It's the best American made .22 pistol there is. Very fussy about ammo though. I've found two brands that mine will shoot well and function with. No fuss with high velocity ammo at all. Lots of guys use Smith 41's for hunting squirrels etc.
The factory grips are crap, but there are lots of good aftermarket grips around.
