What guns make you drool like a 15 month old baby? Have you been lucky enough to own any of these? Have you just fondled them, or are you still just dreaming oveer pics on the net and print rags?

Went to a machine gun shoot near Madisonville, TX. over the weekend. I didn't shoot them but did get to fondle my 3 favorites. BAR, M3 grease gun, and MP-5SD. It was a fun packed day. The drool factor was high. More toys than I had ever dreamed about. If you have never been to a machine gun shoot, I highly recommend finding one and going.

My list of drool guns is extensive. Currently near the top of the list is, in no particular order:S&W 500 Magnum, Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter, STI Executive, Les Baer Thunder Ranch Special, Desert Eagle, Colt Python. Except the 500Mag, I have had a chance to fondle all of these and shoot a couple of them. (Les Baer and Desert Eagle). Two other guns that were on my drool list that I now own; Beretta Billinnium and Kimber Eclipse Target II. I still get weak in the knees when I see the Beretta. It is beautiful and a real pleasure to shoot. That one was absolutely at the top of my list. :D

I guess currently its a Caspian built 1911 in 9x23.

As a rule -I like simple, classic, blue and wood. I respect craftmanship, machine fitted parts. Form follows function.

There are tons. Anything from double rifles to belt fed MGs. I would really like a Holland and Holland double rifle, MP-5SD, BAR, M249, M2, etc. Absence makes the heart grow fonder I guess :(

Boss o/u's, Dickson and McNaughton round actions, Henry rolling blocks, 1st generation factory engraved Colt .38 Supers and Aces, large frame Merwin & Hulberts, and really well done rifles by guys like Leonard Brownell or Maurice Ottmar.

Glock 18, Beretta 93R, Thompsom submachine gun, Mark 23, PSG1.

Never touched a single one.:(

Edited: Almost forgot! A 1903 sniper rifle with the looooong scope!

Belongs to THR member mec. Mec, if you're reading this lets see some more pics. Please!

Ferguson breechloading flintlock. You can load and shoot it while lying down, and it's weird. The lying-down part? Not for tacticality, I'm just really, really lazy.

hmmm...most of the handguns by Hammerli and Pardini, H&H doubles, HK21, #5 single actions, HK P7M8 (I own this one finally). There is proberly a few other oddball ones but these are good for now. While some are actually a possibility - becuse of cost - of owning, I still have others that would get more use to purchase first.

I too can attest to the fun of a machinegun shoot. Attended the one in my area 3 or 5 times. Always a "blast"

cool9mm and Hkmp5sd

There were 3 Glock 18's at the shoot yesterday. Didn't shoot any of them but did fondle one. One with a sholder stock the other 2 without.

I mostly salivate over projects in my never-ending quest for cool firearms I can actually afford.

Here is my next project as of today*

Acquire Blue steel 4" Ruger GP-100 function shoot it with full house .357 mag for 500 rounds.

Goes to Clark Custom for barrel shortening to three inches, (easier to cut barrel than to mill top strap to accept adjustable sights I want.) Recrown barrel, machine for moonclips, action job.

Goes to Cylinder and Slide for installation of Express Big dot sights, zeroing in with 158 grain SD ammo, and a handpolished "master" blueing in an effort to rival the Colt Royal Blue on a Python I once had.

Fit Lett checkered winewood grips with Ruger medallions in silver.

Should come in at about a thousand more or less.

*subject to change without notice.

All time, 'gotta get me one of those' goes to the MP5SD. I will probably have to settle for an airsoft, cause even the civvy semi-auto ones are what? almost 3 grand now? (I did see a preban HK93 at cabela's for $2500. that would work too. :)

otherwise, I have a bunch of the ones I've always wanted: Beretta, Desert Eagle, AR-15.

Colt 1873 SAA cavalry model in 45 Colt
1908 Artillery model Luger w/buttstock
1911a1
S&W Mod 10 or M&P with 5" pencil barrel
S&W Mod 58
Marlin 1894 lever gun
Win 1885 Lo-Wall I want mine in 45 Colt
Lancaster County pattern Pennsylvania rifle by Leaman
Win Classic Mod 70 or pre64

I still drool when I fondle my H&K USP 40

Would like to drool on the Nickel or Gold Nitride Desert Eagle

And the Kimber Eclipse
