Just as a thought provoker what gun do you wish would come into production.

Mine is simple and I have pestered the folks at Ruger for it.

I wand a mini style rifle in 7.62 NATO (.308 Win for you civilians).

I am thinking more in the ruger price range than Springfield Armory. But trust me, I drool whenever I see one!

(It will never happen).....a Luger in .45acp, 10mm, 40 S&W, priced less than $1000

Actually 2 lugers were built in .45 for testing. One was shot out during tests. There is a company producing them custom order for I believe about 10k.

I want an airweight .357 revolver with a meaningful (4 or 5 inches long) barrel. It'd be the perfect backpacking gun.

The current airweight revolvers, with those super-short barrels, are too hard to aim well. The sight radius is just too short to make a hit at long distances. The short barrel also reduces power a good deal.

Why can't they put a real barrel on one of those guns? Seems pretty simple to me...

How about this for blasphemy?

I wish for a glock 1911. Sure could solve the "ugly" problem for them. I'd really just like to see the reaction gun buyers would have.

How about a real lightweight Ruger in double action for a kit/trap gun? I'm thinking of a Ruger .22 sp 101 in super lightweight material, 15 or 18 oz's with a three or four inch barrel, and modern sights. Maybe offer it in 32 H&R mag as well for folks who want a little more bang.

I’d love to see an Auto Ordnance/Kahr Arms Thompson made with matte stainless steel and black synthetic furniture in 10mm. Something like their Commando, but with a real flash-suppressor, not that old-school Cutts type. Improve the sights to something like the HK diopter style and if there was a way to make it a side cocker so it could incorporate a MILSTD 1913 rail on top. Maybe use a alloy receiver to keep the weight down.

Now that would be rockin’ good times!

i'd really like a double stack hi capacity 22 pistol. 20 rounds could easily fit into a moderate sized pistol frame in 22. . . . am i the only one who thinks this would be the best woods gun? a need for only 1 mag in almost all situations?

a 9mm revo not overly priced or from taurus, not that i have anything against em, but i'd like a 6 shot and some variety.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again

A carbine in 7.62 X 25.

I'd also like a conversion kit that would let me shoot .22 or .17 RF out of my Model 66 S&W.

Heck I am easy. They already build the SIG 550/551/552. I just want them to import the darn things. That's a whole lot easier then building one of my fantasy guns. CAN YA HEAR ME NOW SIG :scrutiny:

Actually I wouldn't mind a 9x19mm SIG P239.
