Gunshop worth visiting near Bloomington, IL.?

I am going to be in the Bloomington, IL. area tomorrow. Are there any noteworthy gun shops I should drop in on during lunch?

I think the name of the gun shop in Bloomington is Darnells or something like that. They host a few of the LFI classes there. I haven't been there myself but I have never read anything negative about it.

I have been there for a class. Nice place. Not a huge store, but a nice range. It's out in the country 5 or so miles west of Bloomington.

I stopped in today to use the range. As I pulled up, the place looked familiar. I did my CMP qualifying match there about ten years ago! Very nice range, and some nice folks. One guy offered to let me take his hi-capacity STI/SVI? 1911 for a ride. I was short of time so I had to decline.

I had a good time shooting there but it's too far (and costly) for me to go often. Nice indoor range. I wasn't aware they had any full auto there, but I've only been twice.

There was a nice guy there who let me try his S&W model 27. I can't recall his name but thanks! It was the best gun I've ever shot.
