Went to a gun shop here in central Indiana this weekend (Pop Guns). Guess what I found... An AMD65 for the low, low price of... $2450.00. They also had what looked like a WASR-10 with Galil furniture for $1800.

Good luck with the sale, guys. I try to support my local shops when I can, but you won't be getting any more of my business.

ROFL...That is truly ignorant pricing. I'm getting pretty tired of this crap. I haven't been around a gun counter and not heard "gun ban soon" since November. I'm thinking I could make some serious coin off of a WASR right now. Who'd have ever thought a WASR could be an investment??!!

I was in the local shop last week and they had a CETME for $999.99 and a Golani for $999.99. The last WASR-10 I saw there was $799.99. :barf:

They did have 500 rds. of Barnaul 7.62X39 for $249.99.

I see alot of Arsenal AK's and some AR's on gunbroker and web stores failing to sell in the ~$850-$950 range.

Then infowars publishes that Obama gun ban story. Thanks guys.

I'm sure given half a chance defender of Puerto-Rican terrorists AG Holder would love to declare normal American citizens (as opposed to subjects) terrorists. But that story seemed to be unsubstantiated in the short term any way.

Oh man what a deal on the WASR-10! Is that a really from Israel? How many clips come with it? Did they use it in the war? Do you think they would take $1500 for it? What kind of bullets does it take? Where do I put the clips in? Can I put a laser on it? What kind of batteries does it take? Is it collectible? Why do they call combat rifles Sir+????

All I need is more 7.62x39mm brass and another big bulk box of Hornaday 123gr SP. I had no idea I was sitting on such a gold mine....

Less then one month ago , I bought this AMD-65 NIB for $570 shipped to my FFL guy.

EDIT --- OK , it was a bit more then a mouth ago -- got it on the day Obamma was sworn in.

The only thing left in Midland TX was a CZ, top ejecting in 7.62.
I'm currently piecing together a upper and lower reciever from 2 different mfg's in 5.56 as I could not find a AR 15 anywhere, no mfg dates for complete rifles and up to 16 weeks for some of the components -this from the MFG's-.:what:Oh well, will give me time to get some dies' for the old Dillon since there won't be any 5.56 for awhile.:banghead:
FWIW I voted for OBama and I'm a card carrying Republican -to many unnecessary funerals for son's of my friends-. Can't trust any politician who spends more in one election cycle than they'll earn in 20 years ...
On the up side, Obama is good for the gun industry and re-arming of the American citizenry. May not have been his intent but all the interesting -hi-cap, auto's - are sold along with the ammo. :D
Hmmm ... maybe that's how we'll pay for the stimulus pkg and the Wall St bailout ... with gun sales :<)

I paid $299.00 for my WASR-10 double-stack. Now they cost $600.00 at the same Dunhams. Magazines were $12.00 and now they cost $26.00! Sheesh!

You can STILL find century golanis for $600 online. A local gunstore wanted the low, low price of $1000 for one. I can read the shotgun news and know what the dealers charge....
