H&r 686

I have an almost new H&R model 686 with 2 cylinders .22 and .22LR with a leather belt holster. It was my late Father's and I don't think he ever used it. I want to sell it or trade and get a semi-automatic conceal carry .22LR or .22 mag for my wife. Does anyone know what this is worth in mint condition and the best place to sell it?

Not sure on that exact model. Usually H&R guns go from around $150-$200 depending on condition but I've seen some models go for much higher prices. Sorry I can't help you more, I just don't know.

Take a look at some of the popular auction sites. Do a search on closed auctions to get an idea of what they are going for currently. But only take note of the guns that actually sold, not the ones that closed with the crazy asking prices with no bids.

The condition on the gun and the barrel length will help determine the value. Any pictures? Do you still have the box and papers?

Thanks for the replies. I do not have the original box. It is in mint condition. I will try some of the sites as was suggested. I will take a picture of it this weekend and upload it next week.
