H&r p 22

Could some one tell me about a H&R P22 SR.M14365 I know it is a 22,but what
type ammunition can I use in it. 22 short, 22LR, 22 magnum. I would appreciate
any information that any one can give me. THANKS KERENO

Can you provide a picture?
Are there any markings on the gun that resemble letters and numbers?

That's an H&R Model 922. It can run .22 Shorts, Longs, and Long Rifles,...not .22 Magnums as I recall.

Yup, that's an old one, probably predating the .22 WRM so they didn't feel a need to mark it for .22 S, L, LR.

I like those old H&R grips. They had nine different styles of grip, your choice. Imagine a gun company doing that now.

I would guess $125, or less, depending on the condition.

Serial number with 'M" prefix - made in 1952. Bareel is stamped model 922; Model 923 is the Nickel plated variant of the base 922. Price quoted is right in the ballpark for these.

That`s a nice one, the H&R 922`s are some great revolvers, I even carry one ever so ofter, a Stinger HP will sure mess up your day. Here is one of my CC`s...........
