Ive got a 20 gauge H&R with a Fixed full choke, now Ive read up on slugs threw a full choke, it seems most people full chokes are not so good for slugs.

But the one i got shoots slugs like a Champ, Ive got several groups under 2 inch at roughly 50 yards and thats ME with nothing but a bead, so i feel that is pretty good.

my real question here is should i not me shooting slugs with it, the choke is Pretty Extreme i get some Rally tight patters out of it also but it seems to chew the wads up with certain shells?:uhoh:

If you stay with standard Foster type slugs you will be fine, they are designed to safely pass through full choke barrels.
Do not use Brenneke type solid slugs or sabot slugs as these are not designed to collapse as they pass through a restriction,(choke bore), and require an improved cylinder or open cylinder bore to be safely fired without bulging the barrel at the muzzle.HTH
