I've been loading my 223 Rem (55gr FMJs and 69 gr SMKs) with H335 and have been very happy with the results, but have been unable to get any powder locally. Even when I did a group buy with some buddies, we were unable to score an 8 lb. keg of H335.
So today I took the advise of the reloading dept. manager at Cabellas and picked up a couple pounds of H322.
Looking at my manuals, it appears to be pretty darn close to Reloader 7, but a fair bit faster than H335 or W748.
23 gr. of H322 behind the 55 gr FMJs is the slowest shooting powder tabulated in Modern Reloading
but oddly, they list the same charge of 23 gr. as the max. for a 70 gr. Jacketed, making it the third fastest shooting powder for these weight pills.
Any body out there having good performance with H322 in these same bullet weights?
