I was surprised today to find that Graf & Sons in Mexico, Missouri has H4350 in one pound containers for sale again. I was told by a local dealer here in Oklahoma that it would be available in April but this is really good news. For those who haven't purchased from Graf's their shipping fee and hazard fee are very reasonable. They require a 4 pound minimum purchase on powder. Hope this helps anyone who is looking for H4350. I don't get me excited very often but this made me smile.

I think you may be right Powder Valley ran some H4350 and Varget through this week. I didn't buy any since I don't want to fuel the beast and think I can survive a couple more months. Saw a lot of one lbs containers in stock and it seems like that is the first wave as supply returns.

what makes H4350 better than IMR 3950

I personally don't know that it is any better or any worse. It just depends on the characteristics that you want. H4350 has shorter grains which flow through a powder measure or trickler easier. I understand that H4350 has additives that make it less temperature sensitive. When I am looking for a good load for a particular bullet weight I like to try various powders to see which one gives the best result and it's good to have a choice. I hope others will chime in on this question.

It’s been shipping regularly. I bought some in Dec and in Feb. Guys have been stocking up, stockpiling, and hoarding at various levels of late because of all of this type of “oh no, where’d it go?” and the resulting lies about fires, embargos, military contracts, and whatever other crap people could make up.

Lots and lots more folks are reloading with these powders than the past, and it was an increase with which their production and supply chain didn’t keep pace.

Order what you need, backorder if you have to, and you’ll get it all soon enough. I bought an 8lber of 8208 today, left a second on the shelf for another guy.

This morning I checked the Graf's website and they are out of H4350 so their supply didn't last very long. They do have Reloader 17 which I order from them. Powder Valley had only 7 one pound containers of H4350 but they are out of Reloader 17. I think Varminterror is right in that many more shooters are using these powders because of the increase in PRS and long range shooting.
