Half a dozen robberies plus

I'd carry (and use only for self-defense - to heck with their cash) and as mentioned, dust off the resume and start looking for a safer job.

i work in a drug store also.email me and we can talk.we might work for the same company.

I would carry and not think twice about it. If I can't quit the job for whatever reason, I have to take the moral highground and defend myself as much as possible. A knife clipped to the pocket is a great thing, as is a good flashlight like the Pelican M6 or Surefire 6P (both being used as a fistpack or gouge and not as a "blinder"). A can of Fox OC spray on the belt would be great, especially indoors where you don't have to worry about wind direction.

Unfortunately, most badguys can be expected to have a gun. And a gun beats OC spray every time.

Arm yourself as best you can. Don't skimp on the caliber, but don't try to carry a Gov't Model in your shorts, either.

Far better to be tried by twelve than carried by six. And, it is far easier to ask forgiveness than beg permission.
