My son being special needs, loves video games. One of his favorites is called Dead Space. First person shooting game, you might've guessed, based in outer space.

As with most games nowadays, when you beat certain levels, you get bonuses. Of course, he has beaten every level and has all the bonuses.

The game maker decided to release a new version called what else, Dead Space remake.

My son said he beat one of the hardest levels and got a hand cannon. Asked me if I wanted to see it added on to his space suit.

Of course I couldn't say no, had to see what kind of space based hand cannon they came up with.

This is the space version of a hand cannon, I'm still laughing as someone has a sense of humor.

My grandson surprised me one day rattling off specs for various real life firearms he learned about playing various video games when he was 13.
He told me the specs of my M1 Garand, AR-15, Glock 17, Mossberg 500 and a couple of others I didn’t own at the time. He even knew the specs of my S&W models 10 and 19. What impressed me was he was pretty accurate with all their specs.
I don’t recall the names games he played.
He impressed me over the Christmas holiday shooting his dad’s Glock 19X. He put 17 rounds in a fist sized group at 10 yards. Heck, the young man out shot me with the gun that I gave his dad.
He’s 18 now and a senior in high school.

Couple of the young fellas from work went shooting with me a few months ago and had never seen an M1 Carbine or AK in real life, but had shot them thousands of times in video games so they were pretty familiar with the manuals of arms and sight pictures. They did really well for a first timers-
