Great article and some truly beautiful ivory stocked revolvers to go along with it! Think I like the Hamilton Bowen Model 38/44 that had been converted to .45 Colt the best. There's just something about a blued gun (engraving is a nice "plus" too), with ivory stocks: it just looks so right! Thanks for sharing the article with us Craig.

There was one for sale on RugerForum, though not with ivory and engraving but fancy walnut. Gives you an idea what the one in the article might cost.

I actually like that one even a little more. I'd love to do a .38/44 HD restoration. What a sweet gun.
