Tonight is the night of BP smoke for free!

I discovered tonight that the horse that has no problem with me shooting modern cartridge guns and C&B revolvers in day time believes that flintllocks fired at night with loose powder are horse eating invaders from Mars.

Pedersoli .45 Kemtucky BTW.

So now I got an evening of cleaning for one blank SI-BOOM.

Poured some FFFg on the ground in a line and lit it with a punk we had intended to do other booming stuff lighting with before the threat of having the barn destroyed was conveyed to us in very clear Equine launguage. Kids wanted to burn up more powder that way but I do have better usaes for it.......


Still nice to start the new year smelling of burnt powder.

Already repaired and re-hung an 18' pole barn door today, about froze my tail off.
Gonna shoot my Christmas present, as soon as I get warmed up. Mrs kb talked Santa out of an 1851 Marshall. I hope it shoots as good as it looks!
