Hardcast bullets in the AR platform...

Who is shooting hardcast lead bullets out of a 7.62x39, 300 whisper, etc? I have some gas checked hardcast bullets that I was thinking about loading for my 7.62x39 AR. Am I going to get leading on the rear of the bolt? Inside the carrier? Could the gas tube get clogged? Should I just try it and check the rifle every few rounds untill something happens?
