Has anyone gone to the Sonoran Desert Institute?

The biggest reason I gave up getting paid for working on guns is gun owners.
They all expect immediate service and don't want to pay for it. Because they're "good" customers.
I went to the US gooberment's school of fixin guns. Worked for them from 21y 6m.
You left out “the family heirloom“.

Military and police armorers and are NOT gunsmith's.

It has been my observation of comments on gun forums that most firearm owners are cheap SOB's...first complaining about the co$t of a high quality part e.g. sight replacement , then since the majority have no mechanical aptitude, complain out loud about what it might cost for a "gunsmith" to perform the task of removal / installation that they themselves & their collective friends cannot do either! Again, my adage is "gunsmith" is Latin for NOT an armorer!
