Has the P938 not been very popular?

I traded my recently acquired 9mm XDs for the P938. The sig conceals a tiny bit more, but seems to feel a bit better in my hand. I'm fine with the cocked and locked style of carrying.

I bought one and it's great. No problems to speak of, though you have to be careful if you buy one used. The production date should be in 2013 to get one that has the "fixes". I think the early ones had the 238's extractor.

I just got mine. I haven't fired it yet and probably wont have the chance to do so for a long time. I tend to go for large heavy pistols and don't really own any other "small" autos, with the possible exception of the Bersa .380 which I never intended as a carry gun. So the P938 is sorta of new ground for me. I bought it without ever even having held one, so I really had some doubts, but the right deal just fell into my lap that I just couldn't pass up. Sometimes it just works like that.

So, without having fired it to really make a full review, I will still say that I really like it so far. I carried it around (mostly just around the house since it's untested) for the last two days just to get the feel of it and by comparison to what I normally carry.. it barely felt like it was even there at all. From a 2-1/2lb gun to a 1lb gun feels like an enormous difference.

Also, some have said the trigger weight was a little heavy, and I worried about that, but I was happy to find that the pull was quite acceptable to me. It's a little 'squishy' and maybe even gritty but not a particularly heavy pull. It seems well under the factory advertised specs. I did buy it slightly used though so maybe it's just been broken in to some degree. Worlds away and so much better for an SAO guy like me than any of the many DAO models in the "pocket gun" category.

Bought one and like it so much after a little trigger smoothing that I have another on the way for my wife. Neither one cost even $600 NIB.

I also have a Rohrbaugh R9S and it is a a pocket gun. The 938 is much better on the waist, I have two Remoras and a OWB for them.

So far, it tends to conceal a little better than the XDs I traded for it. The trigger on the one I have isn't too bad. About right for a carry gun, I guess. I may consider having the trigger mechanism polished a bit at some point, but right now, I'm good with it. In fact, that trigger assembly SHOULD smooth out with use, right? Plan to put another [sacrificed] 100 rounds of WWB sometime this weekend as we as a few [REALLY sacrificed] Federal HST 147gr carry rounds.
