In a Los Angeles coffin.
I think activism is all about action...physical action. I myself am at fault for I've never held up a sign in front of the State capital to express my views and help others open their minds.

Majority of my activism has been sending emails to my local Senate, council members and news reporters regarding gun control, gun bills and any other injustices.

So please share your experiences and thought on actually picketing or letting your voice heard at a rally.

No, but they should be often and attended by millions,,
Ah if folks would only stand up for their rights before it is too late.
But no we all, or at least to many of us sit on or butts with our head in the sand.

Do pro-gun rallies consisitently portray RKBA in a positive light? You know how the press will select a "random" participant and spin the reporting. Just wondering, as I'm not aware of any pro-gun rallies.

YES....Monday the 7th of April. 2008
Attended the Harrisburg Pa. ( Capital Building ) Pro-Gun Rally.
The Rally was outstanding and I will do my very best to attend the next one.

I would guess there was 200 people.(Groups, clubs, families with the kids.)
Dress code was 'everything' but I did wear a sports Jacket and tie.
There was a few speeches, then a gun raffle at the end, then we were off the talk to ours State Representatives.

Back when CCW was just about to pass in Ohio, the poster mutant for gun control in Ohio, Tobey Hoover, called for a rally in an Independence, OH park to fight the reelection of one of the leading supporters.

Quickly, a counter-protest developed. We showed up before the anti-gunners arrived, and in VASTLY greater numbers. We literally surrounded Tobey and her fellow fascists, holding up appropriate signs so that the news cameras couldn't get footage of Tobey without footage of the signs.

The crowning indignity was when John Lott showed up unannounced to speak for our side. The news people practically trampled Tobey to death rushing to interview Lott.

It was a combined Little Bighorn and Isandlwana for the gun control movement in Ohio.

Wife and I went to Chuck's Gun Shop in Dolton IL when Jesse Jackson and that idiot priest staged a protest.
Fun day except for the rain.

Probably a good way to end up with an FBI file...
I'm sure Uncle Sugar has a file on me already.
Can't bring myself to worry about one more page:)

Do pro-Antisemitism consistently portray free speech in a positive light?

I believe anyone who's willing to get their voices heard, provided with the right leadership...can accomplish their goal.

At least we can try right?

I need to find some of my neighbors to get together.

Yup.

A few months back, Me, Dave Markowitz, The Mighty and Egregious Charles, and BullFromKen all got our mugs in the paper and on the news. We were in the background, staring down "Fast Eddie" Rendell when he tried to make an anti-gun circus out of the PA statehouse.

{dreamy smile}

Good times.

You can make it happen. Pass the word and commit to action. You'll be amazed who'll come, and as for being in an FBI file, let them list us all, as defenders of the Constitution!!!
