Have people seen full-auto usage decline due to ammo shortages/price increases?

Yes. I know that my friends that own MGs have pretty much stopped using anything that isn't .22lr, 7.62x54R or 7.62x25mm.

The economy sucks...
I am switching to .22lr shooting mostly. :(

Doesn't seem to have slowed anyone at our range. Every time lately there have been at least 2 ppl with full auto guns.

I've shot my 9mm FA more in the past few months than in the past few years, but that's just because I finally got it running well.

I'm REALLY looking forward to a (hopefully) forthcoming .22 conversion, though.

You have to be really rich to not care about ammo prices. I'm not rich. ;)

Due to the sheer difficulty in finding ammo and the expense, people with NFA stuff around me have pretty much stopped shooting unless Uncle Bailout is funding them. People aren't as liberal about dumping 300 rds. of 45 acp as of a few years ago.

I still shoot mine. Since I have to drive an hour each way to the only range where I can shoot it though, I usually only shoot it four times a year or so.

But, when I'm shootin', I'm shootin'.

I do now charge actual ammo costs to let other people try it out now though.
