I'm guessing that your employees are illegals? Maybe you? Dunno, just a guess.
Viva La Minutemen!!!!
Biker

What I object to is that citizens have to be utilized. Politically it's a "hot potato" and therefore the government is helpless. BTW, why aren't all these "militia patriots" I heard so much about through the years NOT enlisting and answering their country's call? Surely all our "hot bloodied" militia types aren't in truth pacifists or maybe its always been just bar room talk :neener: My excuse #3 & 4.

Pick your "excuse"

1. Not my war
2. I can't use my own weapons
3. I've served already (VALID reason)
4. Can't pass the physical (VALID reason)
5. I burn easily in hot climates.
6. I'm protesting the a) government b) the IRS
7. It's not a "just" war like the all the others have been
8. I'm sober and the local bar is 5 blocks away
9. I never intended to be taken seriously
10. I'm saving myself for the "future" battles here at home.

Outstanding! But I refer to our militia in the traditional sense. I'll NEVER knowingly bad mouth a fellow vet! They are the salt of the Earth and I practice "hire a vet" at work often.

telewinz, Simcox stated that many who showed up were retired police and retired military. That makes sense; they have the time to do that sort of thing.

Jammer Six, do you object to "Neighborhood Watch" in your neighborhood? Folks just keeping an eye on the area, prepared and willing to call the police if needed? After all, that's really all the Minutemen did. They never took action of any sort.

Is not police power delegated by The People to those willing to assume the duties? If those with the duty do not perform it, who is left but The People? As I understand it, our system does not consider that government innately has power. I thought our system was primarily based on limitis to governmental power, with delegation from all of us via our elected representatives. That's my understanding of the theory, anyway, regardless of what has come to pass.

The Minutemen are just doing jobs that other Americans don't want to do.

They are undocumented border patrol. :D

I cannot volunteer for the Minutemen until I retire from this job. At least thats what someone told me who works for a company with alot of letters.

It says "He doesn't speak English...and I vote". Hablar is the infinitive, and it is in the present tense. For it to say "I don't speak English", it should read "No hablo Ingles".

o- I - yo
a- he/she/it - el/ella
as- you- tu
amos- we
an- ellos- they

technically that's not posible. to vote you must be a citizen and to become a citizen you need to pass a written and oral english language test. I know this for a fact as I took this test last year when I got citizenship

I remember watching the news the other week and becoming quite livid. I wish I could find the story I searched for an hour with no luck. I just remember an elected official (of Texas a Legislator of some kind) she was saying how
they are an illegal militia and how they don't have the right to have guns..

Ohh that ticked me off. They are not an illegal militia. And its sad how the story became an ANTI-GUN story because they couldn't spin how "evil and dangerous" they are without the gun aspect.

I am all for the Minutemen. If the government isn't doing its job, why shouldn't concerned citizens...

"...of the people, for the people, by the people." We ARE the government, regardless of how our hired hands in the capitol view us. It's about time we started doing the job.

How to shut up the "open borders" people

How to shut up anyone who is against sealing the border:
Tell them you are going to move into their house with your friends and family because their house is nicer than yours. Tell them you will eat out of their fridge, share their car, watch their TV. But don't worry, you'll help out in the yard, and vacum now and then.
When they freak out, tell them they have no right to defend their private property, and accuse them arrogantly of being "prejudiced", selfish, racist, etc. If they still don't get the point, just keep insisting you will be over tonight with the family, and expect dinner to be ready....
