came home with three manuals, a sling, three boxes of ammo, and a pristine number4mk2 with all matching serial numbers?

I normally never buy guns at gunshows, but the price was right (165), and the owner let me remove the bolt to look through the bore (which is pristine)

I took it home and immiediately cleaned it, and there was no cosmoline anywhere on the rifle, and she was bone dry except for the bolt head threads. I gave her a nice cleaning and lube with FP-10, now she's perty and as slick as can be.

Her wood and steel are fantastic, she's got some honestly came by dents and whatnot, and the enamel paint is 95%.

her insides were fiilthy, but it's the kind of filth that comes from not being shot much and being stored in bakersfield. (lots of dust, all of it brown)

I'm looking for a name for her, and i'm also going to look up her markings to see where she's from. i'll update you as soon as i find out.

Congrats on the good find. May we all be so lucky in life.

I'm still holding out for that NIB HK MP5 NFA Full Auto for under $1000. I'd settle for a babied M16 for the same money. Let me know if you find one. Thanks.

Nice catch. The last few gun shows I've been to I've noticed the supply of Lee-Enfields isn't what it used to be.
