Have you ever taken someone to the range, and made your guest nervous/uncomfortable?

Any of my coworkers would be either uncomfortable or scared merely of the knowledge I have of the firearms that I own, especially the milsurps. Almost none of them have been around firearms enough to be comfortable with them. I don't get into it that much with them; they think I just 'shoot targets.' Also, according to company policy, mentioning the subject of guns (context was not specified) on a regular basis is justification to report that kind of behavior to your local anti-violence representative or security personnel. It was in my last 'workplace violence' training.

You've got to get off that left coast grimjaw! Security guards are who I guntalk with the most. The one guy was just getting into pistols and having some accuracy problems so I gave him some pointers. Another guard taught me a few things about a certain model I was unfamiliar with. He's got gun magazines (the kind you read) laying all over his desk. They'd have to report me to themselves.

Do you think management would call SWAT if you tacked up a used target? Bet there's no regulation against that ;)

I have the same problem in my area- just about everyone and their brother hunts deer in my area, but if you show up with something that doesn't look like it was made for deer hunting, you'll get " dat der is an assault rifle, what'r ya gunna do? shoot up a playground of kids with dat?
