Have You Hugged (or carried) Your Revolver Today?

Yes, I carry the Colt magnum carry most every day. Some times when out riding my favorite horse or mule I carry a Short barrel SA 45 Colt custom Sheriff's model with birds head grip and Bisley hammer made by U.S. Firearms.

Yup, I've carried my S&W 638. Haven't felt the need to hug it though.

It's been a few days since I hugged my Model 638 +75 I have been somewhat busy with the holiday and having family in town. Sometime between now and the next holiday I plan on getting reaquainted with many of my revolvers as well.

Nickel 2 1/2" Model 19 gets carried all day every day.

I've handled my newest USFA/Turnbull .44Spl so much in the three months I've had it that the finish is worn off the hammer spur.

Been shooting the snot out of my 3rd Model Dragoon converted to .45Colt.

Pocket carried my Ruger LCR just this morning when I was taking trash out to the dumpster. Golden Saber .38s

Paranoid maybe but I rationalized it because there are big dogs running loose occasionally in my neighborhood (bulldog, rottweiler...) and I figured a pocket revolver is a good choice for making contact shots if Cujo jumps on you! ;)

For the past few months I have only carried a 3 or 4" k frame or an SP101 but somehow the past two days my G#@!$ 19 seems to have worked itself back in the roatation. When I get off work I think Ill grab some steal.

My old Llama 38 gets taken with me to my reloading shack. It's not pretty to look at... like someone drug it behind a truck, but it shoots straight and gives me peace when I'm all alone in my favorite doghouse.

Hugged, carried and shot today. But not shot very much; it's a cold day on the mason Dixon line and Underwood 125gr +P's out of a 637 sure do sting with wind whipped hands!

Yup. I go out to the mail box every day, a 3/4 mile walk through the woods. I always carry a gun, usually either my Colt Woodsman or my Colt New Service in .45 Colt.

Darn nice photography here.
You guys do a great job.

I am carrying mine right now.
2010 Ruger SP101
My other carry piece is a 1970 S&W Model 38.

I sleep next to my 66-5 every night, and she gets to ride on my hip all day long too. She is a little over weight even with her cute little snub nose, but that extra little bit of weight helps to remind me she is with me every where I go, and ready to do her job if needed.

Stress test, I don't consider that paranoid. I take one with me every where I go and have been thankful I did more than once.

Nothing paranoid there, if I'm outside I'm armed and when I'm inside there's a gun within a few feet if not on me.

Today I carried my lightly customized 327 Night Guard, it's my preferred piece for when I'm working around the place. We keep chickens and have all the usual predators to worry about. The Night Guard is easy and comfortable to carry, plenty accurate, and who can argue with 8rds of .357mag!
