Hawes Western Marshal Revolvers

One of those things where I always wanted one or two but they were so cheap, I just always assumed they'd be available when I was ready.
I thought the same thing about Lugers, P-38s, Garands, Enfields and Springfields ad infinitum "back in the day" (late fifties and early sixties). Of course, prior to 1968, you could buy them through the mail with little age limits, no background checks, no limited numbers and no waiting periods-gun violence must have been through the roof back in those days...

Sauer & Sohn sold all the revolver machinery to Italy when the fused with SIG in 1976. I know that the D/A revolvers were shortly made by Euroarms under license of S&S but with a noticeably less refined finish.
