My LGS sells Hawke scopes and I am considering a Vantage 4-12x40 AO for my CZ 455. My use would be 50 yd. bench match and possibly 22 silhouette match (50-200 yds). All opinions appreciated.

Thanks! The dealer told me that they were really big in the air rifle and crossbow field. He says they have a "you break it, we fix it" warrantee.

For comparable price with option to see better at 200 yards for match shooting, definitely check out Burris Full Field 6.5-20x50mm - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...20x-50mm-169-9-shipping.893341/#post-12050074

"The scope focuses down as close as 50 yards, though, which makes this one popular with precision .22 LR shooters."

I have done 1" and 30mm tube scope comparisons at 100 yards for my 22LR accurizing thread and would consider Burris FF E1 one of better 1" tube scope - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...dations-under-200.912293/page-2#post-12457516

It comes with "Forever Warranty. No questions asked." - https://www.burrisoptics.com/customer-service/warranty

Dack Outdoors has mil dot version for $157 and $9 shipping - https://dackoutdoors.com/product/bu...-yds-fov-1-tube-black-matte-ballistic-mil-dot

And MV reticle for $188 with $9 shipping - https://dackoutdoors.com/product/bu...e-black-matte-finish-ballistic-plex-e1-mv-sfp
