Just a heads up. Checked out classic arms today and they have century yugo underfolders for 699.95 which seems to be decent considering what they are going for on gunbroker lately.

They also have a century 1975 GP which i hadn't heard of until today. Has synthetic stock and hand guards, american made reciever which is probably not an opened up single stack like the WASR-10's. Also has magazine dimples from what i see in the picture. Looks to be pretty decent compared to a WASR. They are asking 599.95 for it.

Wish i had cash for these, but i dont. Just thought i would let you guys know in case anyone is looking for one. :)

This is nothing more than a "G" kit on a Nodak receiver with fancy furniture.

Nothing to do with a WASR.

The M70s are Century jobs, too (Century manufactures and markets a lot of different AKs, you know).

nalioth: yeah, i know century makes all different kinds of ak's and other firearms. I know that rifle is not a WASR, but i havnt seen a fixed stock ak with mag dimples from century that wasn't a SAR. Looks to be a little better quality with a reciever thats not a cheap romanian single stack.

Starship1st: yeah, its ridiculous. 700 still seems better than the 900 average they are going for on GB.

Oh well. I thought it seemed like a nice find, anyway. :)

EDIT: Especially when they have an actual WASR-10 hacked up high cap for 549.95. Makes the other look great for only 50 more.

Can anyone here tell me anything about the Polish Tantal type AK74s they have on that site?I don't know if it is a Century build(QC issues?),but the caliber IS more affordable to shoot nowadays than 7.62x39;so I AM interested.I'd also like to know more RE the AMD65's they have-if they have good QC;they could be good "traveling companions".
