Heh, heh, heh... Fire!

If I had a full auto anything, I can assure you I would not put enough rounds through it at one time to make the front hand grips light on fire. Shows how rugged an ak is though.

Ignoring the lack of muzzle discipline...I'm finding it hard to believe that someone with the money to buy a registered NFA AK would be willing to abuse a weapon worth upwards of ten grand, in such a manner.

Why not? Point of money is to spend it. People spend millions just to take a high ride into space on an airplane.

Probably had an SOT... Plus, IIRC, when they "make" a weapon, it can be "unmade" within 24 hours and doesn't count... At least that was the way it was a while back with outfits like Stembridge, or whoever the movie folks are...

Besides... Assuming that it was a screw-in receiver instead of press fit, the ammo cost more than the pieces.

That's probably an ATF agent, on his weekend, having fun by destroying a perfectly good weapon that was undoubtedly stolen from someone.

What a moron!

Unless he just had a shot-out barrel and wanted to destroy everything in front of the receiver what was his point? Did he just want to demonstrate that you can run the gun too hard?

I was confused there till I realized the threads were merged!
Flaming handguards are majorly tactical! :p
I hope he's either a SOT or very rich. If not, he's an idiot. Killer muzzle control too! Breaking multiple rules at once!

Aside from the obvious, the part that offended me the most when I saw this video on Break a couple of days ago was the comments made by the viewers. Guys like the trigger puller in the video paint gun owners as mindless yahoos. :fire:
