A big plus for the P365 series is the configurability options. You can use the shorter P365 slide with a 3.1" barrel, or the longer P365XL slide with a 3.7" barrel and have the option to install it on grip modules with 3 different grip heights that hold 10 rds, 12 rds, and 17 rds, respectively. You can swap grip modules in less than 30 seconds. You can tailor it to your specific concealed carry needs.
Then there are also aftermarket grip modules for even more options. Wilson Combat grip modules are designed to accept a 1.5 oz tungsten weight for better balance when you are low on ammunition. MagGuts makes spring kits to increase the 10 rd magazine to 12 rds, and the 12 rd magazine to 14 rds.
You can also get compensated versions. You can get it with or without a manual trigger safety. Once the fire control unit is out of the grip module you can install or remove the manual trigger safety in less than 30 seconds. You can install an extended magazine release button. Install an RDS.
You can install a curved trigger or a flat trigger. It requires pulling at the very tip of the trigger of between 3.5 and 4 lbs to release the sear, depending upon the spring tolerances.. If you are pulling at the middle of the trigger it requires about 7 to 8 lbs of force to release the sear. It is also has a one piece trigger hinged at the top which makes it less susceptible to contamination issues.
