I liked it much better with the stars and stripes, and the feeling of ordinary people being happy and light-hearted about being able to be armed and free. Please ditch the military logo and rifle - this is about people who are NOT military or "state militia" being able to keep and bear arms, and the decision struck down a ban on HANDGUNS - not rifles or shotguns. If you feel you really must use a rifle, at least add an open trigger lock lying on the ground or something to show that the requirement to keep rifles and shotguns inoperable was struck down.
I actually liked the fact that the previous version was feminine, not because I'm a fan of frilly, (I'm not!), but becaue it subtly emphasises the point that being armed empowers the most vulnerable in our society, namely, women, the elderly, and the disabled, as well as dispelling the stereotype of 2A and gun-rights advocates being only rural white males. If you want it more masculine, just use a striped shirt and hat instead of a striped dress and bow. Maybe have His & Hers Heller KItty/Heller Yes?
