Hello I just joined and wanted to say.. "Rifle Country" is my place!

I am 19 from California, and I just bought my first rifle! DPMS "Oracle" .223/5.56 with a sight mark ultra shot pro spec (14002 Model) out the door whole set up only cost me $750. I took it to the range, having never shot an AR-15 let alone not having much gun experience and zero optic experience I had nice groupings at 25 yards (Indoor rifle range) tomorrow I'm heading out to an outdoor range so we will see how 50/100/200 yards go!

I looked at a lot of forums to join, and this one seemed like a smooth lay out!

Welcome aboard. You will get a ton of info here. Your choice in rifles isn't bad. I have an Oracle and love it. Some put them down but I doubt most of them have ever fired one. You don't need to spend more to get more enjoyment. So have fun and enjoy the new rifle. You will like it.

Hi. I hear decent things about the Oracle. Supposedly a decent buy for the money. Definitely not a bad gun to start off with if your starting with an AR.

Joe, I bought mine from the store.. and there are plenty around.. AK's as well. They just have the Bullet Button + 10 Round Mags:banghead:

Do a lot of reading and you can learn a lot on this forum. Rifle country is a great place to start. Eventually you will find the other area interesting as well.

Beware - I started out in rifle country... next thing you know it, you are handloading..... I do not know where it ends? Single-action revolvers or black powder?
