While cleaning out my garage, I found a few cases of ammo that I suspect have lain untouched in the corner of my garage for 25-30 years. One case of 9mm has the ammo in 50 round off-white cardboard boxes, all packed in a larger cardboard shipping box that it came to me in. I'd like some help ID'ing it; specifically, I'd like to know if it is boxer primed or Berdan (corrosive) primed, and if you guys think this is still good to shoot. (The ammo is surprisingly clean and bright for essentially being "unsealed" in my non-temperature controlled garage.)

The headstamp is: 9mm 5-85 MAL

The boxes are labeled as follows and I have attached pictures (if I did it right!):

50 BUTIR
9mm BALL PARABELLUM
LOT 5 MAL 5-85

I'm guessing that it is Malaysian (maybe) manufactured May 1985? Can anyone confirm this? Anyone shot this stuff? Comments? Any input appreciated. Thanks.

Malaysian as you can see from Googleing it. Corrosive or Berdan primed can be found by firing it.

The corrosive vs noncorrosive is a non-issue if you clean your weapon after shooting. As has already been stated, shoot one and look into the casing to determine if it is boxer or Berdan primed. Two holes visible in the primer indicates Berdan, not easy to reload but perfectly fine to shoot.

Malaysian for sure. Very much doubt anybody uses corrosive primers any more. That ammo is alleged to have been sold by Century as Berdan, non-corrosive though. Supposedly good ammo too.
As mentioned, corrosive primers are more of a nuisance than anything else.
