Help ID this New England Arms shotgun

I have the opportunity to purchase this shotgun at auction but I don't know who makes it and what it's worth. On the barrel it says "New England Arms, Kittery Point, ME. Mod" but there is no maker. I know New Englad Arms imported shotguns and some of them were high end but I'm not enough of a shotgun expert to know what I'm looking at here. Can anyone help me out here?

Looks surprisingly like the Baikal gun I had a few years ago. Pull the barrels off and see what is stamped on or around the front of the reciever, on the water table, and on the barrels. That will probably tell you exactly what you need to ID the gun.

As I google, they imported a variety of shotguns.
Proof marks on the water table and barrel flats would tell a lot.
