Gentlemen(and Ladies I suppose too),
I moved from Northwest Ohio where I had ample supplies of reloading components, i. e cabelas, bass pro, and local well stocked gunshops to Wilmington, NC. Love the area but am having a hard time find local stores that sell components, namely projectiles. Anyone familiar with eastern NC and where a good place would be? I have looked online and called several places but wondering if anyone knows a small shop or local bullet caster they could point me to. I have ordered online from Precision Delta but apparently they are severely backed up and I have a need to buy in bulk this weekend to reload for a buddy who is training up for the Philly PD and has never shot a pistol. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Semper Fi,
sgtzach

Hello sgtzach & welcome to NC. !!!!!

Have ya found Shooters Choice ????

Can`t remember the address rite now but they have a web site !

there's a bass pro in myrtle beach. that's not too far from you and you can make it a pretty fun day trip. also one in charlotte.

my experience in NC has shown me that my best bet is to buy everything online except powder and primers. buy the hazmat stuff at the gun shows. Dixie gun and knife show comes to raleigh and charlotte, both of which are just a couple hours from you. there are also some shows in wilmington that i'm sure google would point you to.

i know none of this helps you out this weekend. sorry man. welcome to NC!

Hey y'all-

Thanks for the suggestions. Especially making Myrtle Beach a day trip! I looked around and there is a gunshow coming up in the next week. Don't know why I didn't think to look for one. Hopefully there will be a good selection to peruse.

Thanks again

if you order from bass pro and do the in-store pick up, do you still have to pay the hazmat fee?

best bet is the gun show. plus, you might get lucky and stumble across a deal. i love wasting half a day at a gun show.

Except, a few of the gun shows around here are somewhat...lacking, shall we say? I have found the occasional deal at some, but I would say that if you're looking to explore the gun show option, I would stick with the Dixie Gun and Knife Show. It's more of a drive, but it's leaps and bounds beyond the more local shows (Wilmington, J-ville, New Bern, Greenville).

There's a local store here in New Bern that almost always has powder and primers in stock, but you're going to pay somewhat of a premium for them.
