My FIN asked me if I could locate the missing part for this old Savage Kimel Kamper KK1, 20 ga shotgun that he acquired. What a strange looking gun, made to shoot from the hip. So far I've been striking out locating parts. I'm assuming that this gun originally was a full size std single shot that was cut down to make this hip shooting. He said the original owner took it apart (when drunk) and tossed the parts  Parts that I know are missing are trigger, trigger guard, and butt plate that I know of. Not having a parts breakdown I have no idea what else is missing. He said he fired it by just pulling the hammer back and letting it go.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank in advanced.

I have one of these. It's not a cut stock. They're made to be shot from the hip. Mine is also missing the trigger guard & stock plate. Mine has "DO NOT FIRE FROM SHOULDER" stamped into the barrel.

I have the suspicion that the trigger guard was originally plastic, I know for sure the butt plate was. Any idea what year these were made?

Same gun. I found that they made 2-3 different runs of the these. KK1, KK2, KK3? . I did not thing that the trigger guard was plastic back when these were made.

I had no luck with parts from Jack First. I have one more place I'm trying to reach but they are only open 3 days a week and hard to get some one to answer the phone.
