Well, I am totally in love with my G26 - carry it all day everyday - it just dissapears. Just as in love with my G30 which I carry when wearing a bit more clothes or want the comfort of .45acp. I shoot them a few times a week and they are just little accurate monsters.

I'd be happy if these were the only 2 guns I could ever own...

With that said, have some cash saved up and, even though I definitely don't NEED another Glock, I think it might be fun to add some more variety.

So, where should I go next? Which Glock would offer the best compliment?

Do I get a full size 9mm to share ammo or go for another caliber altogether? The Glock 27 and 23 are pretty intriguing as I can get conversion barrels for them - I shot a 10mm the other day and REALLY enjoyed that too, but not sure I would get a lot of use out of it as I use .357mag for trail duties...

I know I dont want .357sig or 45GAP or the super huge target Gocks like the 34...

Already have good handguns for CCW, HD and the trail so not really in need of filling any specific role... Just diversifying.

Thanks for any guidance and help!

I voted for the G19 because it is easily my favorite Glock, it really just seems to be a perfect union of form, function and caliber. That said, if you either reload, or are rich, and want to have a blast at the range or get something for woods carry, the G20 is a great choice as well! There are lots of conversion barrels available, same goes for the G21.

I voted G19 as well.

I'm not a multi-caliber guy - meaning I like to have just one caliber for each given purpose, and when one caliber can serve multiple purposes, even better.

So the G19 it is, hands down; IMO.

22 or 23. You can shoot 9mm or .357 SIG with a barrel change and mag change for the 9mm, or stick with the .40 S&W if not. Doesn't take long to pay for the conversion barrel and a few mags using cheap, lead 9mm for practice. The Lone Wolf barrels are fine to use with LRN rounds unlike OEM barrels.

You G19 advocates:

you do not think that the G26 and G19 are too similar in size? That was a reason why I leaned away from the G19 as I have a few G19 mags already with sleeves that essentially turn my G26 into a short slide 19...

Or is it that awesome that it would be a great compliment?

Thank guys for the responses so far!!!!

They are similar, and if it was my money I wouldn't buy a second pistol at all, much less a third. But if I HAD to pick one, I'd absolutely choose a similar (or identical) compliment, as opposed to a different caliber of any size.

g23... all the way. You can get a 9mm / 357 conversion for it.. My fav glock by far. I also luv my 30sf

I had a G30SF. Sold it because it was difficult to hide for me. Had a G26. With a finger extension, it was as hard to hide as a G23. Sold it. Bought a G23 and a 40-9 conversion and 357 Sig barrel from LWD. Now it's all smiles and giggles - Three calibers for about $700 including Meps and taxes. No other mods. Happy gun and what I expect for an EDC.

I voted G22, but any of the models in .40 would be a good choice. Go with a Gen4 and you avoid the infamous "not fully supported chamber" issue.

Thats a pretty compelling argument for the 23 - are you getting good reliability or do you also have to change out the extractors/ejectors for each?

big difference I think in the 19 and 26 ..........I suppose 2 g26's would equal a 19?

i voted 23
i thinks its the best all around 40 S&W made
this will give you all three major calibers
or if you are just looking for fun get the 29

I would spend the money on something unique. My 19 is my favorite gun, but I don't think it will be significantly different than your 26 since you like the 26 so much. Look for something to enjoy since your tools are covered.

I had all 3 sizes in 9mm. I sold the G17 because it didn't fit my hand, the palm swell threw me off. Oddly enough the G21SF fits my hand just fine. I sold the G26 because for me the G19 was easier to conceal, it laid flatter against my body. Where as the G26 appeared more bulky due to its stubby nature. Its big enough to shoot comfortably, small enough to conceal.

Then I looked at the G23. I give up only 2 rounds of 9mm, for a .40 in the same size package.

Current Glocks in the stable:
G19
G30SF
G21SF
G23

Glocks I've tried and sold off:
G17, bad hand fit.
G22, bad hand fit.
G36, would pinch my finger.
G30, bad hand fit.
G26, better option for ccw.
Pick what caliber you want and get the mid-size.

If I were in your shoes based on what I like, I'd recommend either the G29 or the G36. You used the term 'complement.' Neither of those guns complements as in providing another platform with interchangeable mags. But they complement in that they fill niches. The G29 is a 10mm and I'm keen on having a 10mm for its great power in a small platform. The G36 is thin enough that it seems to hug my body. I guess I value versatility over interchangeability of mags.

Thank you all for the help so far!!!

I'm thinking a 23 may be the ticket... Time to shoot one again this weekend.

Id go with the 17 just for range fun with a full size pistol

of course for the same money as a new glock you can get a conersion barrel to shoot 10mm in your 30 so youll have a 29 and 30. Then with the rest you can buy the advantage arms kit to convert your 26 to shoot 22s so you can get some cheap trigger time in too.

I am not a Glock guy. That said, I would try to stay w/ the same caliber and prefferably something with magazines that are compatible with what I have now.

In my world that would be a CZ75B & a RAMI

Thanks for the recs so far guys!!! Going to hold out for one more week and either go for a 19, 23, 17 or 22!

Now thinking that it may make sense to stay in 9mm and get a full size Glock that my wife will be comfortable shooting when she comes along...
