what is the number i include

question 15 says sign here then it has a box next to it that says title and one next to it for the date. what do i put in the box that says title?

For question 15, If I remember correctly, I just put "self".The spots asking for "position" and "title" and the like are intended for business'/corporations to use when applying.Anything like "self", "individual" "collector", etc should be fine for those spots. They're used to it I'm sure, and will know what you mean.I got mine in like 2 weeks, and I just used "self" for all of them as best as I can recall.

Yep, "Individual" worked for me.

The Chief Law Enforcement Officer is typically the chief of police/sheriff's department/public safety department that has jurisdiction over your home address. You don't need his approval, you only have to mail him a copy of your application. I called my local department to get routing and address information - no problem.

Also, you will need an ATF form 5330.20 - "Certification of Compliance with 18 U.S.C. 922(g)(5)(B)".

This basically provides the BAT-boys with your citizenship status. If you don't have it, they'll mail you a nice letter and a copy saying they cannot process your application without it.
