I bought a pair of the $30 30db Browning earmuffs at Bass Pro Shops not long ago. They work well, but the problem seems to be when I put on shooting glasses. It seems that when the glasses are on, being slid under the earmuffs to go behind my ear, they seem to lift the muff ever so slightly off the side of my head, allowing in more noise. I tried some Oakley half Jackets, but the design of the Oakley arms really stuck out from the side of my head, causing alot of noise to enter the earmuffs. I went back to a cheap pair of Bass Pro RedHead glasses, since the arms seemed to fit flatter against the side of my face, letting in less noise, but I can tell a difference when they are on or off, noise wise. I have ended up using ear plugs under the muffs, which is working well, but I was wondering if I need to find a better set of glasses/muffs that work well together? Has anyone experienced what I am talking about?

It's a common problem. Selecting safety glasses to keep a good seal with the muffs is important, as you've recognized.

Shooters should use plugs as their primary hearing protection and add muffs to that to provide additional protection. Select safety glasses to prevent the pads of the muffs gapping and loosing protection. Old style wire frame safety glasses don't produce a significant gap and neither do strap systems like on the Wiley X SG1s.

Forgo style for protection when on the range.

There's a lot of material to read on hearing protection from former threads on the topic, but they all can be summarized as get the highest rated plugs and muffs that you can find and wear them every time on the range if you want to protect your hearing.
