Muffs VS Plugs

i try to use both when im indoors (which is rare) and muffs when im outside

I tend to use both when using my rifles including the 22LR and the SMLE. When firing my pistols I tend to use just the earmuffs.

Both. Peltor 10 has 29 NNR, Remington muffs have a 31 NNR rating: plus a 33 plug. Best you can get. Still not altogether 100% safe but ....one has to shoot. Both.

I prefer to use both. I'm already deaf in one ear from birth, so I'd like to preserve the hearing I have in my good ear.

Man, it's kinda spooky how quiet it can get when you're double-bagging it. You can fire off a .22, and it's just so... not loud.
