Evening,

I'm interested in moving out to 200-300 yard shooting. At my local range they supplied spotting scopes for the 100 yard line, but I will need my own for any further distance. I am not interested in spending more than $350, but closer to ~$300 would be nicer.

These are the ones I am currently looking at:

Konus Spotting Scope 20-60x 80mm with Tripod, Photo Adapter and Soft Case Armored Green
http://www.amazon.com/Konus-7120-20...e=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1269906543&sr=1-1

Celestron 52252 100mm Ultima Zoom Spotting Scope
http://www.amazon.com/Celestron-522...e=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1269906649&sr=1-2

Barska Gladiator 25-75x100 Waterproof Straight Spotting Scope w/Tripod
http://www.amazon.com/Barska-Gladia...e=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1269906649&sr=1-1

Any others? Any opinions?

Nikon, check em' out.

Be forewarned, for under $350 you are not going to find a quality optic the size of a spotting scope.

I'll give the Konus 80 a thumbs up. I've been using it for 200 yd. service rifle matches.

+1 for Nikon, if you want to buy new. However if you are willing to buy used look for 20-30 year old Bushnell Discovery. Straight tube, with a 15-45 power eyepiece, sharp glass from center to edge, downside not much eye relief if you wear glass's. Should be around $75 to $125.

Good luck.

Ordering today, thanks for the opinions so far. (bump)

I was really leaning towards the Celestron, any reason it hasn't got any votes yet? (Any problems I don't know about?)
