I bought this j-frame Ladysmith for my wife a while back:

Now she finds out she can't use it for CCW because the grips are too fat for her to shoot weak-handed. But, she was handling and dry firing my Chiefs Special last night and decided it would do just fine.

My choice is; either find some (pretty) slim grips for her Ladysmith, or give up my Model 36. And, no, it's not going to be a trade either, she gets to keep both.

Any ideas where I would get some pretty grips that are close to the standard Model 36 grips?

larry, see the inquiry above where I asked about grips. Couple of suggestions: one being CDNN who has a variety of wood and rubber with the rubber being as cheap as $4 a pair. I'm gonna get a 36 and would likd some wood like you have on the one pictured. If you want to sell those, PM me.

I'd be offering her those grips she likes and shopping for another set for the 36. I've got a nice model 60 that I really like (Missouri Highway Patrol 50 Year Commerative that was issued, and then traded in) but there's something about a 3" blue Chief's Special that is terribly intriguing to me.
