I need to find a Slow-Motion movie of a 1911 semi-automatic handgun being fired, the bullet leaving the muzzle and the subsequent recoil of the slide being shown..

Have seen such, but...!!! There use to be a company, in Va., I think, that made movies of firearms/handguns being fired..???

Any Thoughts...??? PLEASE !!!

A movie would be great, also an animation like the following on the M1 Garand would be helpful.

Thanks for your help!!

I have moved this to autoloaders as more appropriate.

Could be this file will appeal, go grab it - STI Flash animation (90k).

Play with all the settings on left and in second column of sqaures you can ''transparentize'' areas too - it is a superb piece of work. The author is a member here but I cannot recall his name right now.

Rats, I know there's a great site out there with tons of sample vids. If you search TFL you'll probably find some links.

One thing I noticed about autoloading handguns is that the slide bounces when it closes. Bounces quite a bit too.

(Maybe I noticed this because I was fighting valve bounce in a Honda engine.)

Thanks!

Thanks, guys! Apprreciate the help.

PS P95: That is an excellent animation!
