I have already made the decision for a number of reason to convert an ADL to BDL....I am a left eye shooter, and the RH justified stock on the 700 LV SF in 308 is not comfortable for me.
I am going woth an HS Ambi Pro Stock in the "Varmint" configuration. A little wider up front, fits me better.
Here is where I am running into an issue.
When I fit the new floor plate to the action & HS Stock, I am getting an interference at the back of the magazine base to the floor plate.
Is the ADL Mag box different than the BDL Mag box?
I did quite a bit of cross referencing of schematics on Brownell's, and here is what I found for the stainless models (which mine is) they give the same PN for the Mag Box.
When you just look up ADL or BDL and leave the SS out of the equation, they list 2 entirely different PN's for the Mag Boxes.
So....If anyone out ther has both or has run into this issue, I would be greatful in advance for your assistance.
