Thanks, it was the only deer I seen this season to that point. 6-8 does came out after I shot the buck, I could have shot 2 but just can't do all them here at the house at one time. The 140 speer hotcor did a very good job on the lung shot I made. Was like a 3" hole on the far side ribs but about a 1" exit on the hide so guess it stayed together. They shot a bit flatter then I was expecting at the 250-300 I shot him, so the bullet hit under the backtrap taking out the top of the lungs. Very little blood shot to.

Sure have better luck in those than my Danners or Irishsetters.....
Every animal I've shot this year I've been wearing slippers.....Course its been a slow year, only got a few.

Im not the only one who feels slippers are completely acceptable hunting foot ware....
