You can always shorten them! Track of the Wolf has a large selection of nipples, measure the length and see what they have.
View attachment 1200759View attachment 1200760this is a extremely early model . Fitting and function is excellent. Ordered a set of Pietta and uberti nipples. The Pietta wouldn't fit, the Ubertis were able to screw down but we're to long View attachment 1200761
And I believe track, and others supply two lengths of uberti cones…You can always shorten them! Track of the Wolf has a large selection of nipples, measure the length and see what they have.
Unfortunately no, I don't have any arbors laying around. Did you look at VTI? They have some ASM parts. I would also look at EBay.@Jackrabbit1957 do you have any pocket model arbors in your parts bin at the moment?
I got a revolver id been looking for a while. A ASM baby dragon with a 5" barrel with loading lever.
Unfortunately during initial break down and clean of the gun , after a attempt to hit the wedge with my plastic mallet the arbor bent. I went to bend it back and it was nearly as easy to bend as a fork.
I was never able to get it straight enough to work and ended up becoming unusable.
Id often heard stories about ASM soft parts but this was a first for me
Original Colts even had 2 different length cones, according to my1970s Dixie Gun Works catalog.I have two Centaure's, a 4xxx and a 9xxx. As I recall the nipples marked "fits original Colt's" from Track of The Wolf had the correct threads but the cone length was not necessarily ideal.
Do you know if the color case is real bone & charcoal or chemical?I have two Centaure's, a 4xxx and a 9xxx. As I recall the nipples marked "fits original Colt's" from Track of The Wolf had the correct threads but the cone length was not necessarily ideal.
