Help with a price

I am thinking about selling a model 12 bought new by me in 1976. It has been fired 12 times. I have the original box and paper work. The gun is as close to new as you can get. I would not sell this gun except that I need the funds to buy a Glock 34 to shoot in completitions and it dose not help that I just bought a used 19 last week. What would be a fair price to ask for this gun? Wife said one more gun and it is the couch for me.

S&W model 12-

Is that what you have; or is it something else? If a S&W model 12
LNIB with all the paperwork, box, etc; I think you might expect to
get about $300 for it.

Yes it is a model 12, 2" barrel, square butt. I was thinking of asking $285.00 plus shipping. Just wanted to make sure that I was asking a fair price.
