Hello all... I've been reading THR for months but just today took the time to register.
Anyway, I have a new (less than 800 rds. shot through it) Daewoo DH40 as my primary carry/HD gun. First off, it's an awesome little .40 S&W, with it's tri-mode action (SA, DA, Fast Action), ambi safety, milled topstrap, etc. The price was unbeatable. (About $225 with trade-in, a Firestorm 1911 gov't that literally fell apart in my hand)
Now... where can I find extra mags for it? It came with two, but that's not near enough. Can I order them from thier importer, Century Arms International? I thought I read somewhere that Smith & Wesson model 4006 mags will work (I have read that S&W 5946 mags will work in the Daewoo 9mm model.) Can anyone validate these claims?
Never had this problem with my 1911, but I didn't care for the cocked-and-locked mode of carry, esp. when my spare time tends to "unlock" my roscoe.
next gun will be a Glock... not necessarily b/c I like them, but at least I can find some damn magazines, tritium night sights, and a decent kydex IWB holster for them!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
(BTW, I'm a 22YO, married father of one in my junior year of college, so dumping the daewoo and buying another gun just isn't in the budget!)
