there are youtube videos on how to put marlin 60 together, a friend took one apart and springs flew all over his house. but he found them and watch the vide and put her back together and it workd fine!!

Bull

Looks like you might be missing the hammer strut since the spring is not in the gun. In the future, when you take it apart watch the strut piece. If you don't pay attention to it, or forget about it, the pressure from the hammer spring will make it fly across the room. Learned that one the hard way. There is a mod you can do which basically hooks the strut bar and spring assembly together so you can take it apart and put it together easier, but it is hard to explain without pictures.

You should be able to see how it goes together by the schematics, or by finding a video. The Model 60 action is a little complex-looking the first time, but if you completely disassemble it a time or two, it becomes really simple.

I learned real fast taking a Marlin #60 apart for cleaning, DON'T DO THAT AGAIN !!! .It took me hours to get it back together right .Now I just remove the stock and spray the action out good with cleaner, dry with compressed air and relube , good to go . hdbiker

Im not missing the hammer strut i just didnt put it in the picture.

I had to take apart the trigger assembly and BOY was it a pain in the rear..it took forever! just like hdbiker said lol but i finally got it back together. Im probably just gonna clean the bolt and everything else and just wipe down the trigger assembly from now on.

Im still having some problem with ejecting..the empty case gets jammed up above the next round trying to feed. any suggestions?

If using different ammunition does not cure the problem, you may need to replace the feed throat. The feed throat on the Marlin 60 is a zinc die cast piece in two parts, right and left. Over time, it is common for the feed throat to cause problems with feeding and ejecting.

Check your ejector, it's a spring wire that should be on the left hand side of the feed ramp.
